Matty, we miss you so much, our life will be so different without you. I loved when we had stupid little fights and at the end it was always hugs and love. I met you for the first time well over ten years ago and I loved you since then. Thank you for being always there for Chris and the kids you guys were the best friends I've ever known. I miss you so much. Watch over us and I hope to see you again at the tailgate in heaven. We will alway try to get to know Penny better and we will always be here for them. Love you always.

Trustworthy, good-hearted and genuine friends are hard to find. Matt fit all three for so many friends. His fun, sweet and loving demeanor would always bring a smile. He will be missed but live on in the beautiful memories that he left behind for us to cherish and through his precious daughter, Penny.

Matt, I just came back from your wake. My heart breaks for you, and your daughter. It had been so long.... but I will cherish the memories from high school and college forever. Thank you for the Jolly Tinker, Singing and writing at Rodrigue's, riding cafeteria trays in the snow at 4am, Pugly's chicken rolls and Nine Inch Nails. Thank you for sharing our love of Depeche Mode. "Somebody" will always make me think of you. From Les Miserables to Phantom, singing at my Dad's piano.... oh Matt... you are gone far too soon. It's hard to believe that someone that I have known and Loved all my life, is just gone. Penny will always remember what an amazing father you are and how much you love her. Taken way too soon. This weekend we were struck with terribly sad news so this week's Random Picture Monday is going to move away from the usual goofy side and pay tribute to our fallen peer in music, Matt Dower of REVEL 9. While we only knew him for a short couple years he was without a doubt one of the classiest dudes we have ever come across in our music world. A great player and one with a penchant for silliness we got along famously and adored the guy. He'll sorely be missed. Our hearts go out to all who's lives were touched by him. Here's to you brother.
