MATTHEW GONZALEZ 1/15/92-5/21/09 First Birthday in Heaven Happy 18th Birthday Matt, our pride and joy. We are missing your smile, your humor and your "I Love You's" everyday. Thank you for the continuous signs. We feel your presence and wish we could see and hug you. We know you will be with your family and friends today as we celebrate your life and acknowledge your bravery in your fight against HLH at the "Miles For Matt" relay hosted by St. Anthony's H.S. You would be in awe, and once again you have made us so proud. Love you, to the moon and back, Mom, Dad, Kelly, Megan and all your family and friends. Out of sadness and grief comes infinite hope, joy, love, and awareness of just how precious life is. Just look at the thousand- or- so people commited to the success of "Miles for Matt" at SAHS, and rest assured that Matt's short life continues on in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to know him. Blessings to you all, and may the joy of this accomplishment help ease the unbearable pain of Matt's passing.

We are participating tonight at the Miles for Matt event in Matt's honor. I wish I had the opportunity to have known him. Jonathan Gallagher is our cousin, and we know how close he was to Matt and how much he misses him, so we wanted to show our support and love in his memory. The Wolff Family....
