Eight years ago I experienced the most painful feeling any parent could have, losing a child. As I write this tribute to you tonight I can think of so many things I want to say but the most important is that not one day goes by that I don't think of you, miss you, and love you. I look at the sky and want to reach up and bring you back to us. I see your picture and want it to talk to me. I close my eyes and see you reach out to me to hug me. In each of your children I see a sign of you. This is what I have left of you and I cherish what ever it is that brings me closer to your memories. You are with so many wonderful people that we have lost and I pray that you are all at peace with God. I also pray that you are all looking over us so we can find our path to Heaven to be reunited with all of you.
I love you so very much Michael and just saying your name makes me feel as though you are nearby letting me know that you have not stopped loving or being with us.
This year your birthday is on Memorial Day and all the drums, songs, parades and prayers will be a dedication from me to you. I love you with all my being and I know we will be together again. Look down on those 3 girls who are struggling with life as any young person does today. It is through you that I know they will make it. They are closer to your memory than ever and I see they need every bit of those memories to get through life. Thank God that you gave them what you did for the short period of time they had you.
God give you rest and peace and until we meet again.
All my love,
Mom.

Happy 53rd Birthday Michael. The choir of angels will sing to you today in honor of your birth on earth. I will never forget the day you were born and the hour you were placed in my arms. You are now in the arms of our God and I don't have to worry because you are being well cared for. I miss you with all my heart and love you eternally. Mom

My Dear Son,
Yesterday was 7 years that you left us to be home with God. I sit here today, thinking how terrible it was those 7 years ago. The horror, the unvelief of losing you, the "how can I get through this" feeling, the sadness, the loss. It's 7 years, and none of that has changed. I don't know how I got through 7 years without hearing your voice, hugging you, sharing the kids with you. So much has happened since you left. Your daughters are so beautiful. They are strong woman, stronger than I could ever be. The only thought I ever have after each day goes by is that I'm getting closer to seeing you again. Your birthday is Sunday and everyone will be together celebrating your day that brought you into the world. Your presence will be felt, you absence will be painful. My love for you has grown stronger than ever, but missing you is just more than words can say. My beloved Michael, without you the world experience's one less beauitiful smile, one less caring person, and one less son and father. My angel, until we meet again, I love you. Mom

Hey Mike, drove by St Pat's, now All Saints, and saw your memorial. It caused a stir in my soul. Reminded me of the days at the bus stop with my brother and sister, Nick and Delores, and Christine and Frankie waiting to go to School. I couldn't help laughing out loud remembering when we pushed you mom's patience past the limit at our cub scout meetings. Rest easy brother, see you at the end of days.

My Son, my Michael. In 1/2 hour it will be Feb 9th and my birthday. What I will never have again is that phone call you made to me on this day. I can hear you saying, "Happy Birthday Mom", I didn't have too much money to get you something but there was always something there. I would always answer, "all I need is your hug". Today I would give anything for that hug. I know you are looking down on me, I know you are near me, and I know that you will give me that hug. I will somehow feel it. I miss you so, and love you with all my heart and life. Nothing can separate a Mother and Son so I know God will allow me to feel your presence. Good Night Michael, I love you.

Four years ago you left us to return home to God. My son, I miss you every day. I look for signs of you in every way. I find them in the sky, in the breeze, in your children, in you Dad, in your sister. I feel your presence with every breath I take. I close my eyes and your smile appears. Michael, I miss you and love you. You do live in my heart and I know I will see you again.

Michael, though you entered Heaven 4 years ago today, you live on in our hearts. I see your face in Jackie, your smile in Jessie and your personality in Jenna. I see your eyes in Debbie, your funny stories that are remembered by Christopher, Nick and Anthony. I see your love in Daddy. And for me, I remember the first day I held you in my arms and will forever feel your hugs. You are all around us, reminding us that you have not gone away. Peace to you my son, I will love you forever. Until we meet again. Mommy.

My Dearest Michael,
If someone asked me three years ago, how would I make it through three years without you I would have said, "I won't, I can't". But the grace of God, I'm here and today when I held Jackie's face in my hands, I saw you. When I put my arms around Jessie, I felt you. When I listened to Jenna's funny stories, I heard you. You live on within those girls. They bring Daddy and I comfort knowing that a part of you is very much with us. Your voice may be silent but your smile and your hugs live within our memories. We miss you, we love you and we wait to see you again.

My Dearest Son,
Two years have gone by since we last saw you and heard your voice. How did we get by without you in our lives? Not one day goes by without a tear, without a thought. I say your name each morning when I look up at the sky. I see your face everytime I look into the faces of Jackie, Jessie and Jenna. I feel your presence everytime I'm with your Dad. Today the sun is shining, the sky is clear and very blue, the breeze is gently blowing and the day just is filled with peace. I somehow know that you had something to do with this as this is the day the Lord called your name and you went home to Him. My heart is broken, my life is not the same, but yet I am consoled because every day I feel you are near me. I am so blessed to have had you for a son and so blessed that your girls are so much a part of my life. I know you are carving a path for them to follow and I know you are watching down on all of us. We miss you, we love you and in our hearts we hold your memory. You are in the arms of the Lord.
Love,
Mommy

Dear Michael,
I see you and Grandma walking hand in hand in Heaven. It puts a smile on my face, a tear in my eye and an ache in my heart. Take good care of each other. You were very special to her and her very first Grandson. You were always very kind to her and showed her your love. I will always remember you putting your hands on her shoulders and bending down to give her a kiss. Your favorite baby sitter is now in Heaven with you.
My Love,
Mom

Dear Michael,
I think about you every day. I have the best picture of you, me and Debbie up on my computer, and it makes me smile when I look at it. It was a wonderful time to be a kid, and you were truly like my little brother. I have so many great memories. You are so tremendously missed by everyone, especially by your parents. Now that Jack is up there with you, we expect you guys to watch over all of us and keep sending those pennies from heaven.

My Loving Son,
Not one day goes by without a tear shed for you. Daddy and I miss you so intensely it's as though our hearts are ripped out. Knowing you are with God is our only consolation. Your daughters are growing more beautiful every day, God knows you can see them from your place in Heaven. Every goal Jackie scores has your name on it. We love you immensely.

My Dearest Son,
One year has past since we last heard your voice, saw your beautiful smile, laughted at your silly jokes, hugged you like a teddy bear. Not one day goes by when we don't think of you, pray for you, cry for you and long to see you. I know you are at peace and in the arms of Jesus, but the pain of missing you is great. We love you and know that we will be together again.

Dear Cousin Amy, Michael, Debbie and loved ones,
If not for our Savior we would be without hope. But oh the grace of our Father who sent His only begotten Son.....that we may know the hope of His calling. Until we meet again in that Holy City....oh death where is thy sting...and He shall wipe away every tear. Hold onto the King's promise. He will be with us even unto the end of the age.
John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
The Lord comfort you at this time and wrap His loving arms around you.
