Ora June Renesse'

1921 - 2022

Renesse' - Ora June, lived to be 101 1/2 years old. She was born on May 18th, 1921 at home in Park Slope Brooklyn. She passed away on her favorite Holiday, Christmas Eve in the afternoon at her daughter Ora's home in Southold where she has been living since 2018. She was married to the Love of her life, Jean D. Renesse' Jr. for 76 years before his passing. She was predeceased by her beloved son John in 2002. Ora is survived by her loving family who will cherish her memory. Her daughter Ora Heath and husband Bruce. Ora was blessed with four grandchildren, Douglas,

Richard, Robert and wife Dana, and granddaughter Emily. She was also blessed with three great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Robert, Amelia and a little girl on the way in January. Along with many nieces and nephews. Ora provided a Century long example of unconditional Love, Kindness and generosity. She dedicated her life to raising her children. She was full of laughter, friends, and loved ones. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone who was lucky enough to know her. A Memorial service is planned for the beginning of May at the First Presbyterian Church in Smithtown. In lieu of Flowers, Mom's favorite charities are: St. Jude's, Tunnel to Towers and Wounded Warriors.
