Every once in a while Pete comes into my mind thinking of my time on the job with him. He was such a stalwart in our department. Never a harsh word, alway smiling, and never a bitter word about anyone. When this came up on my email I took a few minutes to think of him and our interaction over time on the job. Miss you Pete

I was shocked to hear of Pete's passing. Read it in TAPS. Worked w/Pete for many years and I never met another man as friendly and concerned as Pete. I think of him often and my prayers will always be with his family.

when an ambulance was summoned to our house, twice, because my husband was seriously ill, pete was always in my door way helping.he was a good man,a great neighbor, a great husband to rose and a great grandfather. we will miss his beautiful face and smile. we will miss him.
