Raymond Scurachio Obituary

SCURACHIO - Raymond, of Port Jervis, NY, and formerly of East Rockaway died Thursday, August 13, 2009. Born in 1964 in Oceanside, NY to Frank and Josephine Lusnak Scurachio. Raymond was a loving husband, brother and uncle. He will not only be remembered for his generous spirit but devotion to family and friends. Surviving wife Marie Favata-Scurachio, brother Frank Scurachio and his wife Mary, Valley Stream, NY, 2 sisters Judith "Judy" Rodriguez and her husband George E. Rockaway, Veronica "Roni" Ohlau, Bay Shore, NY, 3 nephews, 2 nieces: Michael & Christopher Ohlau, Frank, Caitlin & Rachel. Visitation August 16, 2009, 4-6pm and August 17th, 2-4 & 7–9pm. Funeral Mass August 18, 2009 10:00am in St. Mary's R.C. Church, Port Jervis, NY. Burial St. Mary's Cemetery. Gray-Parker Funeral Home, 100 E. So very sorry to hear of Ray's passing. He was a good friend to me at Rhame Avenue and reading his obituary left me with a feeling of loss,I wish I had known him these past 25 years. I'll always remember him as a sweet, gentle giant.I wish him peace and may God bless his family
