Richard Arlen Rapp

Rapp - Richard Arlen, (May 29, 1935 - January 5, 2023) of Ijamsville, MD, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, was the second child of Edward and Eleanor Rapp. He served in the U.S. Air National Guard before a 40-year career with NYNEX. His generous nature and sense of humor were endearing to all who knew him. After losing his wife, Gloria Tiberio, to cancer at 41, he was devoted to raising their three sons, Richard, Jr., John, and Thomas. He is also survived by his wife, Nancy Rapp (née Bilello); stepdaughter, Nancy Ann (John's wife); Susan (Richard Jr's wife); grandchildren, Nancy Rapp (Kyle Binder), Jacquelyn Rapp (Michael Van Haaften), Michelle Rapp, and Richard Rapp III (Jeneczka Roman); and great-granddaughter, Ciara Rapp Binder.
