Dear Blanche and family, We have never met before but I would just like to say to you that Bobby was a very dear friend to all of us at the stone yard in Port Jefferson. He was a True Gentleman and a hard working one at that, he always kept us laughing and inspired us all with his devotion. What I remember most about him was his desire to buy this old sailboat in the mariner next to us. We all thought he was nuts, but as you know he got that sailboat. We helped him get it running and the next week it was in the water. You could just see the pleasure and joy that old boat bought him. So we ran down to the marine store and got him a captions hat, We had a lot of laughs. I think the symbolic gesture meant a lot to him, anyway That weekend he sailed it home. May God Bless You Bobby for you will be sorely missed. May you sail away to heaven and forever be in our hearts... Love Thomas,Gary,Joey(Tilcon)
