It's been over a year and you are still missed very much. We all know you are still with us in all that we do, whether it's in looking over anthony in sports, school, or michael in his active day's he has, or in samantha looking in her window when she's sleeping. The more I see kevin with the things he does and as hard as he works, I see you. You were always his inspiration and to know he is following your footsteps make's him more and more special to me. We miss you very much

Dad,
There are so many ways that I miss you. It’s difficult to comprehend that I cannot speak to you personally like I did before.
This weekend Matt and I went to Lancaster Pennsylvania, one of your favorite places to visit. We saw three mules pulling some sort of field equipment across an old corn pasture. A young Amish man was driving the mules. We went to the farmer’s market and passed by Shady Maple Restaurant where you and Mom went with us to have dinner just a year ago.
Yesterday we went on a farm tour that the Penn State Cooperative Extension provided. We saw different types of farms, all of which you would have been greatly interested in. There was one farm in particular that raised a special breed of horse called a Fresia. The Fresias are large black horses that pull horse-drawn carriages. They are hired for weddings and can even pull a funeral hearse or caisson.
These are just a few things that came to my mind that I wanted to tell you. Each day that goes by there is something that I want to tell you about. You were part of my life for 58 years and now I have to tell you things to your spirit instead of to you in person. You are a hard habit to break!!
I will be with you some day in Heaven and we can talk face to face once more. I love you dearly.
Love, JoAnn

Grandpa Vin will be how you are remembered. We were so fortunate to have had our great-grandpa with us to make so many memories. You knew how to always make us laugh with your teasing ways, and somehow made us come back for more. Upstate memories overflow our photo albums. Tractors, Four Brothers, Sammys, Thanksgiving... We could go on and on. What a wonderful life you have given us. Many could not have experienced this in a lifetime yet we have in our 12 and 7 years. You will be forever missed. We will keep your picture in our rooms to look over us everyday! We love you, Kev and Jake

As hours grew to days from when we last held hands, my mind fills with memories that have been made through the years. Your smile, your spirit, your smell, your love for life will forever be with me.
These words from a Country song said it so perfectly for me, "Life ain't always beautiful, It gets hard sometimes, life ain't always beautiful..... but it's a beautiful ride!" As you taught us so well, our life will be as full as we want it to be. What will I be remembered for when I leave this place? I could only hope to have touched the hearts of so many people in ways they will never-ever forget, as you did! As I shed a tear yet again as another memory comes to me, continue to be with me on my every step thru this beautiful life. Forever in my heart. I love you, Joyce
