Ruby Irene Linn, 93, of Connersville passed away late Thursday evening, February 1, 2024 at Reid Hospital, Richmond.
One of eight children of John and Hariette Ramsey Berry, Ruby was born in Disputanta, Kentucky on January 27 1931. She made Connersville her home in 1957.
A former beautician, Ruby owned and operated Ruby Linn's Beauty Shop for fifteen years. She also was employed at Art Mode Beauty Salon for Lillian Scott and the Fayette County Welfare Department as a homemaker trainer. Additionally, Ruby cleaned area houses and offices.
Ruby was a member of Connersville Baptist Temple and in her leisure time enjoyed attending church, word search puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include two children, Richard "Richie" Dale (Diane) Linn of Trenton, Ohio and Marsha K. (Doug) Day of Connersville; four grandchildren, Belinda Marshall, Bradley Linn, Adam Linn, and Logan Linn; seven great-grandchildren, Makenna Marshall, Mariah Marshall, Mileah Marshall, Bella Marshall, Kylie Linn, Callie Linn, and Alivia Kutz and her parents Tim and Lori Kutz; and a sister, Lavada VanWinkle.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Ryan Dale Linn-Day; six siblings, Herbert Berry, Hazel Berry, Hubert Berry, Shirley Berry, Zola Berry, and Wayne Berry; a special sister-in-law, Alta Lakes.
Family and friends may visit from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Pastor Tim Billups will officiate. Burial will follow in Dale Cemetery.
