SHAMOKIN - Robert M. Bryant, 38, of Shamokin, passed away Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born in Baltimore, Dec. 16, 1986, Robert graduated from Patasco High School, in Maryland, Class of 2005.

At a young age he began working hard and making people smile. He moved to Shamokin where he worked for several years in multiple departments at Walmart, in Coal Township, then at Dollar General as an assistant manager for a short time before finding his happy spot at Amazon delivering packages.

Robert was a great father, loving husband and beloved son. He helped with Cabrini baseball where he made many friends. He always seemed to be happy and willing to help others, which he continued even after his passing by being an organ and tissue donor through Gift of Life. May his generous act help many others.

Robert will be greatly missed by his wife, Amy (Phillips) Morris, whom he married, May 12, 2018, at Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, in Shamokin, with pastor Sam Bellavia officiating; four sons, Austin Morris, Irwin Lorincz, Zachary Morris, Cody Bryant and and Andrew Deski, all living at home; his father, Robert P. Bryant, of Shamokin; his mother, Frances R. (Kesserling) Flores and her husband, Rudy, of West Virginia; a sister, Lauren Curtner and her fiancé, Chris VanBuren, of Floyd, Virginia; nephews, Drew, Dakota, Dylan and Vernon III; nieces, Elizabeth, Mackenzie, Rachel and Savanna; uncles, Paul and Richard; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Cindy Bryant, in 2019; and his stepfather, Jim Givens, in 2008.

BRYANT - Robert M. Bryant, 38, of Shamokin. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mountainside Assembly of God, 1900 Trevorton Road, Coal Township, with the Rev. Dr. Michael T. Goodling officiating. Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Heller Funeral Home LLC, 633 E.
