Cecilia Ann Gebauer

1954 - 2015

Cecilia Ann Gebauer, 60, passed away Dec. 30, 2014, at her home in Delta Junction, surrounded by her family.
She battled cancer for more than 10 years.  
Cecilia was born Sept. 10, 1954, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Eldon and Barbara Kimball and was the youngest of three girls. She graduated from the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls in 1974 with a degree in nursing.
Her career spanned 38 years with the majority of it in the Intensive Care Unit at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital.  
Cecilia adopted three children, Kalinda, Kade, and Kyra, from Calcutta, India, before marrying Vernon Lynn Gebauer in 1991. Jared and Jennifer, Vernon's children from a previous marriage, joined their blended family and shortly thereafter twins, Heath and Eathon, were born, followed by Jake one year later.   
Cecilia and Vernon moved their family to Delta Junction in 1995. Cecilia was employed as an RN at Family Medical Center and then commuted to FMH for 14 years. Cecilia was respected by her co-workers and friends for her hard work, professionalism, compassion, ethics and Godliness.
Cecilia is survived by her husband of 23 years; her children and their spouses, Jared (Mindi) Gebauer, of Homedale, Idaho; Jennifer (Brian) McMorris, of New Meadows, Idaho; Kalinda (Trever) Thomas, of Buhl, Idaho; Tarun "Kade" (Sarah) Kimball, of Anchorage; Kyra Kimball, of Buhl; Heath Gebauer, Eathon Gebauer and Jake Gebauer, of Delta Junction; mother, Barbara Kimball, of Twin Falls; sisters Renee Kimball and Linda Hartwig, of Buhl; mother-in-law Marjorie Gebauer, of Twin Falls; sisters-in-law Ellouise Atkins and Darlene Annen, of Buhl and Filer, Idaho; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. 
We are forever blessed for having Cecilia in our lives as a mom, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, caregiver, and friend.
Memorial services will be held at noon Jan. 10, 2015, at the First Baptist Church in Delta Junction, and at 2 p.m. Jan. 10, at Alaska and Calvary Chapel in Buhl, Idaho.
