Ada Dement Obituary

Ada Frances Dickerson Dement "Nannie" went home to be with her Savior and loving husband, Raymond Marshall Dement on Thursday, January 10, 2008 surrounded by her loving family. Nannie was born on January 15, 1915 in Oxford.
She lived life with a complete and total passion for God and her family. Nannie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2008 at Union View Baptist Church in Franklinton. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may visit Saturday evening, January 12, 2008, from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. at Franklin Funeral Service, 504 E. Mason St., in Franklinton.
Nannie is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Morton, Shirley Wilson and Patricia (Bobby) Crisco; her grandchildren, Joni (Gary) Bray, Kim (Toby) Edwards, Jill (Grant) Gordon, Burnie (Sherry) McAllister, and Gaye (Scott) Champion; her great-grandchildren, Tiffany (Nick) Perry, Trent Bray, Jamie Rhodes, Ivey McAllister, Megan Champion, Wilson Champion, Trevor Gordon, and Candace Gordon; her great- great-grandchildren, Katie McAllister, Grayson Perry, and Kalie Rhodes; nephew, Steve Brent Morton.
She was preceded in death by her sons-in-law, George B. McAllister, Thomas E. Morton and Artis Lee "Mike" Wilson; and her granddaughter, Kelly Wilson Rhodes.
The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to Mary Howell for her loving care of our Nannie.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Frances Dement to: Union View Baptist Church, 13 Chavis St., Franklinton, NC 27525; or do something special for someone you love.
