I first met Allen when he visited Tel Aviv university shortly after his seminal discovery of APOE4.He was fast to state that our Alzhiemer work at the time was off the mark ( I believe that he use stornger language).I am glad to say that he convinced me to refocus on APOE4 and cherish his leadership throught the years. Allen was always direct and it was stimulating and rewarding to talk to him .I will miss him greatly.

I first met Allen after his discovery of apoE4 when he visited Tel Aviv University. He was fast to say that our Alzheimer work at the time was off the mark (I believe he used stronger language). I am very happy that I was convinced by his argumentation and an forever thankful for his leadership. With Allen it was always direct and I enjoyed learning and at times disagreeing. We will all miss him.

My deepest condolences to the Family of Dr. Allen Roses. He was a pioneer in the field of Alzheimer's disease. Grateful to have known him through the Long Island Alzheimer's Foundation, New York. His research will be the foundation for the cure of Alzheimer's disease, it saddens me that he will not be here to receive the accolades he deserves. RIP

I light a candle for an amazing human being who has left us. Thank you, Allen, for your sense of humor. I can still see you in aerobics class at Metrosport with your big grin keeping time to the music. You were one of a kind.
