Wake Forest, North Carolina - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony Leland Page, age 75, of Wake Forest, NC. Tony, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on August 11, 2024.

Tony was born at Old Rex Hospital on August 2, 1949. A Raleigh native, he graduated from Needham B. Broughton High School. Tony's lifelong passion for music led him to play bass in a touring band across the country, a career highlight that he cherished. Upon returning to Raleigh, he married his high school sweetheart, Andrea, and began a long career with Carolina Builders.

After work, he enjoyed relaxing with a cocktail and tending to his garden, where he grew a variety of vegetables, with a particular love for hot peppers. His passion for sailing and spending time on the water at his family's vacation home in Oriental brought him immense happiness. With a pirate's heart, he shared many laughs through his quick witted humor with everyone around him.

Tony is survived by his loving wife, Andrea; his daughter, Amanda Page Godwin (Gregory); his granddaughter, Catherine Carmody Wicker; and his brother, Clinton A. Page (Dorothy). He was preceded in death by his parents, William (Bill) Dewitt Page and Kathleen (Peggy) Carmody Page.

In his final days, Tony was comforted by his mini Dachshund, Bitsy, his adoring and dedicated snuggling companion. His legacy of laughter, music, and love will be remembered by all who knew him.

A celebration of Tony's life will be held with family and friends on Saturday, August 17, 2024.
