Barbara M. Rambeaut

November 2, 1938 – December 21, 2017

Garner

Barbara Murphrey Rambeaut, 79, passed away Thursday at UNC Rex Healthcare. Born in Clayton, NC, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Virgie Murphrey. Barbara retired from the North Carolina Employment Security Commission.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday at Fellowship Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the church from 12-12:45 PM prior to the service.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Willis Rambeaut; sisters: Rochelle Kemp of Clayton, Jean Mason (Curtis) of Kannapolis and Brenda Hutton (Johnny) of Garner; brothers, Jesse Murphrey (Linnie) of Zebulon, Harvey Murphrey (Betty) of Wendell and Yates Murphrey (Clara) of Zebulon, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Freeman of Clayton, Mary Pittman of Selma and brother, Joseph Murphrey of Clayton.

In Lieu of flowers please make contributions to Fellowship Baptist Church, 5029 Old Stage Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603.
