I was an Instructional Resource Teacher with Carole during the 1990's when we were both in year-round schools. She was so encouraging and helpful to all of us. Carole was a beautiful caring friend and exceptional teacher leader. She always talked about the love she had for her family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I was so sorry to hear of Carole's death. She was two years ahead of me in high school. I always thought she was so lovely and feminine. I looked at the video she did for UNC on nutrition, and she was still so lovely. My sympathies to the family.

How sad to know that this lovely woman has left us all too soon. I worked with her at both Lacy and Green. Her smile could brighten even the grayest of days. I'm so glad I knew her. I reget that I will not be able to attend her service, but I want her family to know that I will have you in my heart at that time. Carol was special.
