I remember Mrs. Kennison so fondly as my Girl Scout Troop Leader in the late '60s. It was with her guidance that a group of us, including Cathy, made First Class. My condolences and deepest sympathy to the family.

Aunt Carol's life was fully lived and a wonderful legacy for her family. She was a special person to know and be with, noticing all those around her. I have special childhood memories of visiting, and later visiting with my own children. I''m so glad they could know her and her family.

To Carol's family. On behalf of the staff of the North Carolina State Capitol, we send sincere sympathy. Carol was such a dedicated volunteer for us and did so much for our tour program including re-writing our docent manual and helping with docent training. We miss her and will always remember her fondly. Your family will be in our prayers., Cathy Johnson, tour/volunteer coordinator
