Cindy, Stephen and Andrew, it was not so long ago that we lost our mom and dad so we can honestly say we know how you are feeling and our heart and love goes out to you all. You all were part of our family and growing up would not have been the same on Gatewood
Drive. Weren´t we kids so lucky to have such wonderful parents who taught so us much about life and love. Surround Terry now and let her know how much she means to you. She so needs you. We found a saying that Piglet said to Pooh Bear that resonated with us on the loss of our sweet parents,"How lucky I am to have
something that makes saying goodbye so hard". With fondest memories and love to you all.

To the Mercaldo family, I'm deeply sorry for your loss. I have so many fond memories of Cris - especially the years on Gatewood Dr. I felt like I had a second set of parents, and another sister in Cindy. I always remember his sense of humor and twinkly eyes when he smiled. Lord only knows what he was thinking half the time. I'm sure he is entertaining many in heaven, including my own sweet mom and dad. You can bet they have a good card game going by now. Love to you all! Cindy Haas Kalberer

Dear Uncle Cris--My fondest memories of you was when I would "Do the Twist," with you when I was a toddler and enjoyed all of your visits when you and Aunt Terry came to the Bronx for Quinn family gatherings and Wantagh, LI, NY. Aunt Terry did a wonderful job informing our family of all of the great times you were having with your family and friends in North Carolina and she did a great job taking care of you as well. I will remember your sense of humor and caring for others, but could you do me one favor: send a "sign" to everyone that it was most likely you, (the prankster,) not me, who increased volume on Grandma Quinn's hearing aids before she used them! Thank you also for your service to our great country. I am so sad that you are gone, but will always cherish memories of you. Love, your Neice and God Child, Liz (Volz)
