We knew Dan for over twenty years also dating back to high school. He lived just up the road from us in Youngsville for almost ten years. He never let any bad moods show, he was so happy. He and Renee did great, obviously, with Amber (whos words touched us all today ). We definitely had some great times in life. We will miss you! We know you're there with Ivan. It's hard to have you both gone. Our sympathies go out to the family.

I am a friend of Clara Putnam and just learned of Danny's passing tonight. I did not know him but to Clara he was the best. May God keep you, his daughter, Clara and his parents close to him during this most difficult time. God just added another flower to his beautiful garden. We never know when our time to go home is but we do know that God's love for us is real and that he will carry us through the tough times like this. May God Bless all of you and keep you close. I am so sorry for your loss.

Your friend in Christ,
Carol Canady

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. He was a good friend. A good man. A good father. (And a hell-of-a waiter!) Danny I will miss u! It wasn't your time. There are still so many things for you to see. Put your glasses on, cause its a long way to look from up there. Now who's gonna beat me in boxing on playstation now?

I'll miss you Danny. You had the biggest heart and the biggest laugh of anyone I've ever known. You've touched my life and left me with awesome memories. Because of you the world will never be the same and Heaven just got better.
