Daniel Rosengarth Obituary

Daniel James Rosengarth

JUNE 4, 2000 - SEPTEMBER 9, 2016

Charlotte

With deep, deep sorrow, we announce the loss of our precious first-born son, Daniel Rosengarth. He passed from this world to life eternal with Jesus Christ, surrounded by family, on Friday, September 9, 2016, at the tender age of 16. We will never be the same without him.

We will celebrate Daniel's life in a memorial service at his beloved church, Covenant Church International, located at 12621 Strickland Road in Raleigh, NC on Saturday, September 17 at 2:00 PM. There will be a time of fellowship to follow in the Youth Center where Daniel so loved to serve.

As Daniel was an avid rock climber with a passion for youth, a scholarship will be set up for young climbers in Daniel's honor. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to this effort. More information will be provided in the following weeks.

I was thinking about Daniel today. I was reflecting upon the times we shared in Drafting 1. So many laughs. He was a great friend and teacher.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Daniel was a special young man. It was an honor to serve as an usher with Daniel and Jim. Daniel had a servant's heart and was mature beyond his years. We would see him at the church helping his siblings and others. He will be missed.

Daniel was a great young man. I remember him working for us in our back yard. He was a hard worker, and smart. He was faithful to his family and church. He will be missed: we will miss him!! We love you Rosengarths so much, and grieve with you. Joel

Our hearts grieve for you and with you. We always thought highly of Daniel. We loved it when he knocked on our door because we knew a good conversation would follow! We will remember him playing in the neighborhood as a little boy and watching him grow to be a young man. We pray for the Lord's love to strengthen you, His peace to comfort you and His grace and mercy to shelter and shield you in your time of grief.

I'm am so sorry for your loss. I met Daniel once when I came to help out with the move. He was very helpful and showed me how to clean the undersides of the windows. He made me laugh a few times and I remember as I was leaving thinking what a great kid he was.

I'm deeply saddened to hear that Daniel has passed. What a wonderful spirit he had! I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Daniel at Triangle Rock Club in Raleigh. It was always a treat to talk with him. He was a very bright, engaging young man with a warm demeanor. And anyone having the opportunity to see him climb knows how accomplished he was. He always showed an interest in talking with my two boys and being an older brother figure to them. My wife, boys and I will miss him deeply. We will seek solace in our memories of Daniel and knowing he is with God.
God bless you all.

I'm sorry for your loss. I didn't really know Danny that well but he came to my locker bay a couple times sophomore year and sat with my friends and I. He seemed like a wonderful, kind, and selfless person.
