David St. Pierre "Pete" Dubose, Jr. age 82, died Saturday, afternoon April 19, 2014 at UNC Hospitals
A celebration of his life will be held at the Church of the Good Shepherd on Tuesday April 22, 2014 at 11:30 a.m.
A reception will be held at the church following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Caring House Endowment Fund, which he founded at 2625 Pickett Road, Durham NC 27705 or Church of the Good Shepherd, 3741 Garrett Road Durham NC 27707.

Just learned of Mr. Pete's passing. I was sorry to hear of this. He will be greatly missed by all of us. I know he is resting peacefully with the Lord. You and your family will be in our prayers.

Frankie & family, I'm so sorry to hear of Pete's passing.....I will always remember him as more than a good customer.Pete was and should continue to be an example to us all the true meaning of stewardship.I'm forever grateful to have known him and to consider him my friend.

Dear Frankie and Family,
Pete will surely be missed on Sunset Drive in Morehead. Our prayers are with you as you gather to celebrate his life on Tuesday. We wish we could be with you to help celebrate him, but I do know this: every time I shuck an oyster I'll remember and celebrate him!
