David Klinge Obituary
David was born March 2, 1955 in Pittsburgh, PA to Harold Frank and Ruth Ann Klinge. He was a graduate of South Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte. He was an honors graduate from UNC Chapel Hill. He also received his Masters of Business Administration from UNC Chapel Hill where he was elected to the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society. He was a gentle soul and passionate outdoorsman who was loved and admired by all who knew him.
David was Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for Commercial Lending with Bank of America in Raleigh and a member of Hayes Barton United Methodist Church.
David was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Younts Klinge; mother, Ruth Ann Gierl Klinge of Clearwater, FL; daughter, Mary Allison Klinge of Raleigh; brother, Harold Frank Klinge, Jr. and his wife, Helen of Tamarac, FL; sister, Ruth Ann Klinge Lochner and her husband, John of Bradenton, FL.
A memorial service will be held on August 26 at 2 p.m. at Hayes Barton United Methodist Church, 2209 Fairview Road, Raleigh, NC 27608-2240. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in David's memory to Hayes Barton United Methodist Church.

My thoughts and condolences to the Klinge family. I had the pleasure of working with Dave and getting to know him as a friend. Dave was very proficient in his field and a true professional. I am lucky to have crossed paths with Dave and gotten to know him. I am saddened by this news and my very best wishes go out to the family.

Dear Klinge Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. Dave was a dear friend and collegue of mine who I will always charish. I have so many fond memories of him, at work, on the golf course, at customer meetings and of course our one on one time. If there is anything I can do during this time, please let me know. I am in Miami this week and can not get back on time for the service, but believe me I will be there in spirit. I will be thinking and praying for each of you as time goes on. Hopefully your fond memories will replace your sorrow.
