Dear David,
I attended your memorial tonight. It's so surreal to be saying that. When it came time to share, I was at a loss for words in front of all the people who came to pay their respects. Regretfully, I didn't know you as others knew you and did not remain in contact as family should. My admiration for you was how you didn't care what others thought about you. When people pushed- you pushed back. People were so drawn to you. You had a tough exterior, but for the ones who knew you, they knew how big your heart was. It was amazing how many people you knew...those who were lucky enough to be called a true friend, I know were the relationships you cherished...you were loyal to those you loved.
Though you may not be able to read this, I hope you hear my thoughts and prayers that my memories of you and the person I was so proud to call my cousin, will forever be embedded in my heart.
I love you cousin.

Our hearts and prayers are with each of you as we all go through the loss of David. We should all remember how much David loved his family and friends. Hold the memories, love and good times close to your heart. Remember his great smile, blue eyes, laugh and the joy he brought to each of us. David is now in a better place where there is only love, joy and happiness.
May God Bless Each of You!
Love Trudy
