Eleanor Williams Obituary

Eleanor E. Williams, a long-term resident of Sante Fe, New Mexico, was called home by Jesus Christ, her LORD on September 21, 2025. Her devotion to Jesus and her abiding faith, were constant sources of strength. Eleanor was deeply loved by her family who now celebrate her return to everlasting life. Her family and friends will remember her as one who strived to live the Gospel message, serving others with selflessness and love.

Eleanor's passionate love of Jesus was evident in every aspect of her life, whether through her professional work, volunteer efforts, or the kindness she extended to all who knew her. Graduating from Cary High School and NC State, Eleanor served as a steward of God's creation on Earth in partnership with and equality for all its peoples. She was an inspiration for all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A memorial service to honor her life will be held on Thursday, September 25 at The Church of the Good Shepherd. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to The Shepherd's Table Soup Kitchen, 121 Hillsborough St., Raleigh, NC 27603.

I graduated from Cary High School with Eleanor. She was smart, personable, and quick to draw a smile. She loved her Class (76), her School and her town. Eleanor was quiet but a great friend to many. RIP Dear Friend.
