Elizabeth Pearce Obituary

Elizabeth Ann Pearce, passed away on September 27th, 2010 at UNC Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Herman Odell Hearn and is survived by her mother, Francis Hearn. Ann was a life long resident of Orange County. Ann loved to work, and served as a bookkeeper for many years with Charles Carver CPA. Ann loved entertaining, and always prepared many dishes for her family and friends at Halloween, Christmas, and her annual Super Bowl Party, even though the actual game did not matter to her. Ann loved her family and her parents very much. She also adored her black labs, Hunter and Cooper.
Ann is predeceased by her first husband, Connie Mayse.
In addition to her mother, Ann is survived by her husband, Samuel C. Pearce of Chapel Hill; her sisters, Barbara Womble and her husband, Tommy of Carrboro, and Jean Leadbetter and her husband, Daryl of Raleigh; and her niecem Jenifer Gwaltney.
A memorial service for Ann will be held Friday, October 1, 2010 at 11:00AM in Walker’s Funeral Home chapel with visitation starting at 10:00AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann’s name to Orange County Animal Services, 1601 Eubanks Rd. Chapel Hill, NC 27516.
Walker’s Funeral Home 120 W. Franklin St. Chapel Hill, NC is assisting the Pearce family.
