Eloise Laughlin Paoli

Eloise Laughlin Paoli died on October 27, 2008 at Britthaven of Chapel Hill at the age of 87.
She was born in Cedar Falls, on May 13, 1921 and the family soon moved to Greensboro, where she lived until moving to Chapel Hill in 2006.
She graduated from Greensboro High School and married Dominic Angelo Paoli of Frontenac, KS on September 9, 1944 in Greensboro.
She was employed until her retirement by the Internal Revenue Service in Greensboro and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Greensboro.
Eloise is survived by her husband, Dominic A. Paoli; her daughter, Donna Paoli Cornick of Chapel Hill; cousin, Elizabeth Danner of Archdale; sisters-in-law and brothers-in- law, Don and Joan Emerson of Rancho Mirage, CA, Ben and Marion Ransom of Hilliard, OH, Joe and Lois Paoli of Canyon Lake, CA; and adopted family of Rachel Goins of Cary, Tiffany Goins of Cary and Noelle Glass of Charlotte.
The family wishes to express grateful appreciation to the entire staff of Carolina House of Chapel Hill and Britthaven of Chapel Hill for all their kindness and respect.
Graveside services will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery on Legion Road, Chapel Hill, on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.
