I´m sorry to have seen this so late, but I am so thankful to have been in the company of Fran when I worked at Abbotswood. I always enjoyed talking to her and tending to her plants while we chatted.
My love to her friends and family.

Such a beautiful ray of sunshine- Fran Russ! Her spark for life will forever remain bright! I loved knowing her and taking her places whenever she called and needed a ride. At WUMC, in the Harbor Way Garden Club, as an Alderman or the mayor- she left herself there! The most talented person with a beautiful soul and way with words. I will miss her poems and her smile. All my thoughts and sympathy to her family, friends and many, many people she loved. May your eyes show you ALL from above and may you always know how loved you were.
I going to miss you!

Aunt Fran! She certainly lived her life out loud. What a force to reckon with. One of my favorites is a wall at their house at the beach. There was a nice painting of Bobby in his fishing apparel all content. Then, there was a satellite picture of "hurricane Fran". That pretty much sums it all up.
She so loved her family and was so proud of them.
RIP Aunt Fran! May your loved ones find comfort in shared memories.
Fondly,
Dave and Betsy Russ

I met Fran 64 years ago at WUMChurch, she was keeping the nursery and I handed her my baby and 3 year old . From then on we became fast friends though many good and sad times and I will miss her forever but am happy she can now see!
