Francis Cutair Obituary

Reverend Francis Lee Cutair 3rd, age 68 years of Darlington, MD died atCitizens Care Center, Havre de Grace, MD on Tuesday, April 5. He was the husband of Josephine E. (Booth) Cutair. They were married for 46 years.
Rev. Cutair was born on Sept. 14, 1938 at Arbutus, MD a son of the late Francis Lee and Doris (Atkinson) Cutair 2nd. He was a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory of Music, Baltimore, MD where he received his Bachelor of Musicdegree. He also graduated with a Masters of Divinity from the Berkeley Divinity School of New Haven, Conn. He then served formany years as an Episcopal Priest at St. Georges' of Manchester, MD; Grace Church of Darlington, MD and Church of the Ascension of Scarboro, MD; St. James of Black Mountain, NC; St. Thomas of Oriental NC; Trinity of Abbeville SC and St. Paul and St. Matthias of Louisburg, NC.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three children, Andre Michael Cutair of Greenbelt,MD, Gabrielle Marie Caldwell of Charlestown, MD and Paul Christopher Cutair of Darlington, MD.
Also survived by fivegrandchildren, Melissa Anne Russell, Melanie Lane Russell, Julia Meagan Russell and Matthew Tanner Hess, all of Charlestown, MD and Khalil Tye Cutair of Lochearn, MD; one brother, Glenn Michael Cutair of Arbutus, MD.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Nadia Anne Cutair in 1969.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 10th at 4:30 p.m. at Hopewell United Methodist Church, 3600 Level Village Rd., Havre de Grace, MD. Friends may call at the church from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hope Clinic, PO Box 728, Bayboro, NC 28515 or to the Alzheimer's Assn., 1850 York Rd., Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093.
Harkins Funeral Home, Delta, PA assisted the family with the funeral arrangements.

Lee and I served together at St. James Episcopal Church in Black Mountain, NC. He also married my wife and me.

Lee is a precious saint of God! He will be missed!
