I felt blessed to be a member of Bishop Gossman's flock. He was an inspiration to so many. His unwavering care for the poor, for social justice and his humble approach embraced the essence of Catholic teaching. I will never forget him -- and I will always keep him in my prayers. He was a shining light in our Church.
