Hollis Ruffin Obituary
February 20, 1960 - January 9, 2023
Hillsborough, North Carolina - After graduating from Orange High School in Hillsborough, NC, Hollis served in the US Army and received an honorable discharge. Hollis loved UNC Tarheels, Washington Redskins, fishing, laughing, dancing, and singing R&B. He loved family and adored his mother. Hollis was preceded in death by Stepfather, Roy Tapp Jr., Grandparents, George and Pauline Ruffin; and uncles, George Ruffin Jr., Johnnie Ruffin, Leon Ruffin, James Ruffin, Bobby Ruffin, and Burley Ruffin. He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother - Hazel Tapp ,Raymond Richmond; Siblings, Michael Tapp, Diane Tapp, Sharin Murphy, Jarrett Ellison, his Uncles – Willie Ruffin, JT Ruffin, Hurley Ruffin, Linwood Ruffin, Jeffrey Ruffin, and Fredrick Ruffin; his Aunts – Elvinia Ruffin, Patricia Ruffin, Mable Ruffin, Mary Ruffin, and Jennifer Ruffin, and a host of other family and friends. Services: Wed. 1/18/2023- Family Visitation: 1:00-2:00; Homegoing:2:00, Grace Outreach Ministry, 711 West Holt Street, Mebane NC.

I send all my love to family and my condolences to a great dad he's always been to me my brothers and my mom also wants say she loves y'all as well that Hollis was great man that any woman would to have he will be truly love very missed if y'all ever need anything don't hesitate to ask.
