My dad was Hurley's double first cousin and I knew him because my dad stayed in contact with him. I think he sold his first Volkswagon to my dad. I am the daughter of Floyd Bagbey. He visited Dave a lot of times when he came to see me. I live in Raleigh. Sometimes he and my husband went to Bobby Murray to see Hurley. I know that you will all miss him. I have lost both my mom and dad and I still miss both of them. I know that most of you do not know me but you have been in my prayers. Hope to meet some of you one day.

I was privileged to work with Hurley for over 10 years at Bobby Murray. He was one of the finest men I have known. He was always very postive and genuinely cared about people. I am sorry to hear of his passing.

I am saddened to hear that Mr. Redd Sr. has passed on. He was always very kind to us when, in childhood days, we would 'cut' through Bobby Murray's Chevrolet Dealership on the way to some mischief or another. My condolences to Mrs. Redd and all of the rest of The Redd family.
