Jacquelyn "Jacque" Michelle Cox, 47, of Cary, North Carolina, died January 7, 2015. She was born to John and Page Cox on June 7, 1967, in Raleigh, NC. Jacque graduated from Cary High School in 1985 and received a B.S. in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1990. In 1994 she relocated to Atlanta, GA, where she subsequently started her own industrial chemical company, Monarch Products, LLC. Jacque contracted breast cancer in 2008, fought bravely against the disease for six years, and finally succumbed with her family by her side.
Jacque delighted in applying her scientific acumen to solve common, real-world problems. She loved science, math, and people, an irresistible combination that propelled her to the top of her field. But her most treasured roles were loving daughter, mischievous sister, trusted friend, tennis aficionado, and unwavering caregiver to orphaned kittens. She admired the love and devotion that animals freely give human companions, and selflessly mirrored this quality: she treasured her family and friends.
Jacque is survived by her parents John and Page Cox and her brother Carey Cox. Funeral services will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Raleigh, NC at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2015. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Jacque's favorite charity: Cat Angels Pet Adoption, 959 N. Harrison Ave, Cary, NC 27513.

We just learned of Jacque's passing today. We are all so saddened by her loss. She fought so hard. Jacque was so kind and such an upbeat person. We were one of her customers. She will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I just learned of Jacque's passing. I worked at one of the places Jacque called on.
She always brought a ray of sunshine and sometimes, cookies or cake.
