So sad to hear of Murray passing and want you all to know that I always thought so much of him. We had just connected thru e-mail and visited on-line often. He was in Q-West and so is our son Jon. They tried to get together and both were so busy it just did not happen. My thoughts and prayers and with you all at this time. Mary Neal Scott Ackiss

I am saddened to learn of Murray's death. It is ironic that Murray's death followed Doubie Snow's death so closely. They were always such good friends. I played football with Murray in high school, and at East Carolina. Murray was always such a positive person. My heart goes out to the family.

Murray's parents and mine were very good friends and Wade and I have stayed in touch with Murray, by email, for the last couple of years. Our last correspondence was during Christmas and we were shocked and saddened to learn today of his death in Texas. Our thoughts and prayers are with Johnny, Kathy, "Bo" and Louise. It's been years since I've seen any of you & would love to see you again. Please let us know when and where the memorial service will be held.
