Jared Weaver Obituary
Jared his father, and brother are the owners of Weaver Motorsports, Inc.
Jared is survived by his parents, James P. Weaver, Jr. and DeJuan Williams Weaver of Raleigh; brother, Jason P. Weaver and his wife, Candace of Raleigh; paternal grandparents, James P. Weaver, Sr. and Mary E. Weaver of Raleigh.
His maternal grandparents John E. Williams and Adeline C. Williams preceded Jared in death.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 6th at New Hope Baptist Church. Interment to follow in Raleigh Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Thursday 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. at Brown- Wynne Funeral Home on Millbrook Road.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: New Hope Baptist Church, 4301 Louisburg Road, Raleigh, NC 27604.

I played baseball with Boo throughout our high school years. I always admired his ability to make the best out of any situation. It seemed as if he always had something funny to say. I was not as close to Boo as others, but still wanted to write something for those in pain...............................
How short the time we have to spend,

DeJuan and I would like to thank all of you who have shared you thoughts and comments about our son. There are two main things that have helped us get through this last week, the love and strength given to us by our Saviour Jesus Christ and the support of our family and friends. Jared was loved too much for words to express. We talked everyday and I shared the great joy of working with him. It makes work much different without his laughter and hugs to make the pain go away. It gives us great comfort to know he touched so many of you. God does not make mistakes! He called Jared home when He was ready for him. Very few people can cross the cultural, social, and socioeconomic boundaries like Boo could... He was friends with everyone. If he could connect with you on some level, you were instant and lifelong friends. I was amazed at the sheer number of people who came to honor him and his family at his wake and funeral. Boo had a special way of uniting seeminly different people...in life and in death.
He will not be forgotten.

Boo was our daughter Megan's best friend when we lived in Raleigh. His smile and personality won us over immediately. When we moved to Arlington, TX, we invited him to visit us whenever he could, but the time never came. Take comfort to know that he had many friends who cared for him and thought the world of him. I met Boo many years ago through North Wake baseball. He was one of those special young men who you could not help but like from the first handshake. Boo was always a Yes Sir, No Sir individual who always wore a big smile. Over the years I was around Jason more directly than Boo through baseball but I could always count on seeing Boo in the bleachers cheering his big brother on, you were his hero Jason. As with many of you, the years have passed by so fast and we lose touch with so many people we hold dear. My thoughts, prayers and healing wishes go out to all of you as well as the family of Boo's friends. Being @ the wake last night I was struck by the diversity of the cultures represented there. Having worked with Boo for over 3 years I had the opportunity to observe his zest for life, his acceptance and genuine unconditional love for others. Always wandered why he kept the Bible on his desk and had the opportunity to talk frquently with him about it. We always wonder, why God... maybe there is something we can all gain by making the same decision he made, Make Jesus Lord and be a reflection of Him in our everyday lives. Boo was the most amazing guy. He curbed my pasta cravings and made me laugh when I didn't think I could. ;) I can't think of one single bad memory with Boo. I love him so much. Boo and I have been friends for about 10 years and I'll never forget the first time I met him at Millbrook High. He was always there when I needed him and he had a heart of gold. I'll never forget my best friend from Middle School. I hate that we lost touch for so many years, but am so greatful that we found each other last summer after 10 years! It was as if we picked up right where we left off. I am truly blessed to have Boo watching over me. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.

Boo was like oxygen. When he walked in a room, you couldn't help but be around him. He had such amazing, positive energy. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
