Uncle Jake, you're at peace now. I'm gonna miss you! Things are gonna be so different. Seeing your body at the funeral made me so sad inside. Well, your with God now and I know you are looking down at me to see if I'm safe. I love you Uncle Jake and you are never forgotten!

To the family of Mr. Jessie Bridgers, I am very sorry to hear of your loss, Mr. Jessie as was his wife Mrs. Clessie were very nice people. A joy to talk with. I had the opportunity to visit with him several times at his residence on Sunnybrook some time ago and he was in very good spirit. May God continue to bless you all.

We will always remember brother Jessie's testimony and his witness as he always lifted up the name of Jesus Christ as we ministered services at the Capital. He loved his family and he loved the Lord. We will miss brother Jessie, but he will always be in our hearts and minds. On behalf of Boards of Evangelism from New Horizon C. M. E. Church and Young Missionary Temple C.M. E. Church,we extend our condolence to each one of you, the family, because brother Jessie always kept you in his heart and in his mind.
God bless you and keep you in peace forevermore.

From Nancy Gordon Media Specialist at Hunter: I have the fondest memories of Jessie. No matter how difficult the situation he was able to smile and overcome the nastiness of what had happened. Thank you for teaching me the lessons of tolerance.
