John Milton Sledge
Raleigh
John Milton Sledge was born in Raleigh, NC, to the late Charlie Sledge and Louise Smitherman Sledge. His siblings are William (Sweetman), James (Goey), and Julia Ann Sledge Miller Huggins preceded him in death. He transitioned from this life to his new home January 23, 2013.
Surviving family members are his wife of 52 years, Frances Rogers Sledge, son Jay Sledge, niece Dr. Anita Miller Chesney, two sisters-in-law Primrose Jackson and Mae Frances Rogers.
A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate his life February 1, 2013 at 2:00 at Trinity A.M.E. Zion Church 972 Pennsylvania Ave. Southern Pines, NC.
Professional Services Entrusted to: Purcell Funeral Home, 953 W Pennsylvania Ave. Southern Pines, N. C. 28387.
Come celebrate his life with Joy, Laughter and Friendship.
