I'm sorry for your loss of Mr. Larry. I've known him from working at Piston Ring & Machine since I was a young boy. He and my father (L. P. Harris of Bath, NC) were longtime friends. As an adult, When Mr. Larry and I would cross paths, he would always find time to tell me stories about my father and my grandfather (which I never knew) from years ago. I will greatly miss him and his stories. He was a fine gentleman in my book. May God bless you all and mend your heavy hearts.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I remember a many of days I use to play basketball in your back yard on East 12th street while delivering your newspaper back in the early 70's. Your father always spoke when he saw me and he was always was nice to me. Sincerely,

Although I did not know you as well as I would have liked, I do know what a wonderful man you were. I have admired you and your family for as long as I can remember. It's been a while since I have seen you, but I can still hear that distinctive voice and laugh when I close my eyes and listen. You will be missed by all of your family. Say hi to mom.
