Raleigh, North Carolina - Lawrence Elwood Denny, Jr. passed away unexpectedly October 3, 2023 at his home in Raleigh. Larry was born to the late Lawerence Elwood Denny, Sr. and Emma Lee Craver Denny, December 10, 1952 in Winston Salem, NC. He is survived by his daughter, Kristin Suzanne Wells (Stuart), son, Allan Denny and two grandchildren, Gavin and Vera Wells, sister, Lynda Lankford (John) along with rescue beagle, Buddy. Larry was well known for at least 15 years at the Raleigh Flea Market as "The Boot Man" selling vintage men and women cowboy boots. His vintage car and boot buddies will miss him very much along with his wonderful neighbors. Cremation provided by City of Oaks. Please consider a donation in his honor to SPCA of Wake County.

Larry was the first guy that spoke to me (other than just discussing prices) at the Raleigh flea market. This was 12 years ago. Since then Larry was always a good man, easy to talk to and friendly to everyone. Larry will be missed.

Loved setting up beside him when we went to sell at Fairgrounds. He loved his dog n his station wagon. Rest easy Boot-man. He bought a many of pair from me. N we bought stuff from him.
