Lucile Clark Rose, born on February 25, 1913 passed away peacefully on October 22, 2014. She had made her home at Windsor Point since 1998.

Lucile was a member of Fuquay-Varina Baptist Church since 1957. She was active in many church and civic groups including the Friendly Dozen. She had acquired many close friends and acquaintances in her one hundred and one years, all of which she treasured greatly.

Lucile was preceded in death by her husband of forty-five years, Hubert E. Rose. She is survived by a son, Charles Rose and wife, Kathy of Burnsville, NC; two grandsons, Andy Rose of Seattle, WA and Jeff Rose and wife, Devon of Davidson, NC; and a great-granddaughter, Lucy Rose. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Rose of Goldsboro, NC and Alice Rose of Clinton, NC; and many loving nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate the life of Lucile will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Fuquay-Varina Baptist Church, 301 N Woodrow Street, Fuquay-Varina, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery, Highway 701 S, Newton Grove, NC.

Memorials may be made to Fuquay-Varina Baptist Church.
