Margaret Buckley Sheaves, 95, passed away Friday, February 3, 2017 at the home of her daughter. She was born November 7, 1921 in Fayette County, WV to the late Oakley Buckley and Hattie Sadler Buckley. For many years she was a homemaker, but also worked with Mr. Rufus Horton as a cashier in his country store.
Funeral service 2:00 pm, Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale, 27545.
The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:45 pm at the funeral home.
Graveside Service: 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Wallace Memorial Cemetery,16155 Midland Trail W., Clintonville, West Virginia 24931.
Surviving: daughters: Hattie Tart (Steve) of Franklinton, Janice Sergent of Knightdale; Vicki Hemmingway of Knightdale; sons: Charles Sheaves (Nancy) of Surprise AR, Richard Sheaves (Dorothy) of Brecksville, OH, Larry Sheaves (Lisa) of Pilot, John Sheaves (Joy) of Fuquay Varina; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Sheaves, Jr.; sons-in-law, Don Sergent and Bruce Hemmingway.
