Mark Davis Obituary

Mark Alan Davis (Miller)

Everett, WA

Mark Alan Davis, 60, of Everett, Washington, passed away on March 10, 2017, surrounded by his family, after a valiant losing battle against an aggressive form of brain cancer for four months.

Mark was passionate about cars, football, and airplanes and loved working at Boeing Aircraft Corporation where he worked in Quality Control until he retired. Growing up in Raleigh, Mark graduated from Sanderson High School and attended Mars Hill College. After that he enlisted in the United States Navy. Mark never met a stranger and had a huge heart. He was a caring and loving son, husband, brother and a great friend always ready to help friends, neighbors, and co-workers and all who crossed his path with selfless acts of kindness.

Mark was the son of Wilma Miller and step-father Hal Miller of Raleigh, and Dr. David B. Davis II and his wife, Kaloni Davis of Camas, Washington. He will be missed by his wife, Michelle Broughham Davis of Everett,WA; sisters, Jill Davis of Wilmington, NC, Cheryl Cowart (John) of Dunwoody, GA. He had three children Max Davis, Janessa Crittendon and Cindy Wood and his step-children, twins Derek and Alex Brougham of Port Orchard, Washington, and his soul mate cat, Mr. Puss.

A private funeral service was held in Everett, Washington.

His family would like to sincerely convey their gratitude to all those who in many countless ways offered comfort and support to our family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made, in Mark's name, to the Lineberger Cancer Center at UNC in Chapel Hill, or The Good Shepherd Episcopal Church Soup Kitchen in Raleigh.
