Marshall Wiggins Obituary

Marshall Oliver "Twig" Wiggins, 90, of Youngsville, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2005 at Wake Medical Center. He was born on January 11, 1915 in Franklin County the son of the late Otis and Minnie Wiggins and he worked at Burlington Mills and later retired from Westinghouse. Mr. Wiggins was an avid sportsman andloved baseball, golf and hunting. He was a member of Oak Level Christian Church were he served as a deacon.
A funeral service will be held at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon, September 24, 2005 at Oak Level Christian Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Wiggins is survived by his wife, Josephine Wiggins of Hillside Nursing Center; sons, Twig Wiggins of Wake Forest and Russell Wiggins of Dunn; sister, Vivian Wiggins of Raleigh; three grandchildren, Dwayne Wiggins of Benson, Sheryl Ritchie of Youngsville and Joan Tuton of Wake Forest; four great-grandchildren.
Flowers are accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Oak Level Christian Church Cemetery fund or the building fund P.O. Box 216 Youngsville, NC 27596.
