Sue, Marty, Barry & Alan,
Occasionally, I use Willard as a connector between Boylan & Glenwood, or a shortcut to streets further east/west; that part of Raleigh always reminds me of the Scotts, uniformly good people! Best
to all in this time and beyond...your parents are remembered.

I was so very sorry to hear of the passing of Alan's father. I am priviledged to know Alan Scott. His parents have left behind a true gem and a beautiful legacy in their son Alan. It is in that spirit that I celebrate the life of his father Martin Scott. Alan you have been a true loving son in your devotion, dedication, love and care of your dad. I hope this gives you comfort in knowing you did everything anyone could possibly ask for in his care. Although death is inevitable for all of us, it is never really expected regardless of age or illness. He will live on in your hearts forever and no one can ever take that away from you. May the memories and life experience you have give you solice at this time and in the days ahead. I never met Alan's father or mother but if I had, I would have thanked them for the gift of their son Alan Scott. What a gift he is to his family, friends and community.
