Mavis Reams Obituary

Mavis Carpenter Reams
Castalia
Mavis Lee Carpenter Reams, 89, died Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the Louisburg Nursing Center. She was born in Wake County daughter of the late Martha Blalock Carpenter and Doc Carpenter. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifton Reams.
Graveside funeral services will be held 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, June 12, 2011 at the Carpenter Family Cemetery on Six Forks Road at the Upper Barton Creek Boat Ramps with Rev. Bethea Moore officiating.
Mrs. Reams is survived by her sons and daughter-in-laws; Euston and Dorothy Ray of Arizona, Roger and Danny Ray of Castalia; sisters, Jeanette Bullock of Climax, Lanie C. Johnson of Durham; half brother, Claybon Carpenter of Durham; half sisters, Marie, Doris and Linda; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the S.P.C.A. Society 200 Pet Finder Lane Raleigh, NC 27603.
Friends may visit with the family from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Saturday at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 South Main St., Wake Forest, NC 27587, (919) 556-5811.

My prays will always be with you at this time. I sure have missed Mavis. I am sorry that i can't be at the service. I know what it like to lose a Mother. But my prays will be with you and Danny. God bless you.
