Meredith Edwards Obituary
Born on February 16, 2007 in Raleigh, NC; she was the precious daughter of Christopher and Beth Eastman Edwards; sister of Tyler; granddaughter of Richard and Phyllis Eastman, and Jerry and Judy Edwards.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 17th from 10:30- 12:30 p.m. at Bayleaf Baptist Church-12200 Bayleaf Church Road, with services to be held at 1:00 p.m. A private committal service will follow at Historic Oakwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Meredith's memory to Faith Baptist Church Children's Center- 2728 Marks Creek Road-Knightdale, NC 27545 or to the Preston Robert Tisch Tumor Center c/o Dr. Sridharan Gururangan MRCP at http://www.cancer.duke.edu/BTC/
Arrangements with Brown- Wynne Funeral Home-Millbrook Road in Raleigh.

Your faith over the last months has been a tremendous blessing to my family. Although we haven't met face-to-face, your Aunt Beverly has been diligent in keeping many of us informed as to your prayer needs while caring for sweet Meredith as she fought so hard. Continue to depend on Jesus for all your needs, and allow those who love you to be a blessing to you during the upcoming days........
Remember to "find rest" in God's Word and from the Holy Spirt, the Comforter. Ps. 91:1-2.

I know my son, Brian, was welcoming Meredith to Heaven on Monday. He also was at Duke when he went to be with Jesus, and he died on a Monday. If I can help in any way, just contact me. Only those who have experienced it can truly understand the hurt & pain, but also the grace, mercy, love, & comfort that only Jesus can give. But Russ Redd's mom told me about Meredith yesterday and I just wanted you to know that my entire family is praying for you and your family.
