I knew Mike from the Engineering part of his life. I worked with Mike at Atlantic Research Corp and Touchstone Research Lab and was the most organized program manager and business development gu, but his best attribute was that he was always a good friend.

Janie and family,
Having grown up with Mike in the neighborhood and being with him through high school, I have many fond memories. I think his neighborhood buddies bestowed him with the "Ice Cream" nickname. It sure stuck. Even though I lost touch after moving to Chicago and now Memphis, it sounds like Mike had a great impact serving others. I was so excited to hear his impact on the Clemson coach and being able to experience this year. A life well run.

Ice Cream was a friend in college. He would help all who entered his path. Appreciate all his did for United Way of Pickens County and especially his work with Dabo's All-In Foundation. He will be sorely missed.

Amazing how little time I spent with Mike while working at The Tiger Sports Shop, yet he made such an impact on me with his warm smile and positivity. Even though some days he looked like he might be in pain, I never once heard him utter a complaint. Clemson has lost a treasure in Mike Brown. I am blessed to have known this wonderful human being.
