Michael Coleman Obituary

Michael Todd Coleman

April 16, 1964 – June 18, 2018

Willow Spring

Michael Todd Coleman of Willow Spring, went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 18, 2018. Michael was born in Wheeling, WV on April 16, 1964 to Harold and the late Betty Coleman. He is survived by many friends and loving family including wife, Andrea Coleman; sons, Rusty Coleman and Andrew Wall; brother, Daniel Coleman (Pam); sister, Lynn Courts (Rick); nieces Danielle Coleman & Stephanie Courts; nephew Bryan Courts as well as many cousins and extended family.

Mike graduated from Wheeling Park High School in 1982 and Hobart Welding School where he began a love for working with his hands. He continued to lend his talents in various locations most recently Buhler-Aeroglide in Cary, NC.

Michael's greatest passions were for his family, pets, and his church. He attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Garner, NC, where he served for years as an officer for the Knights of Columbus. He spent many hours contributing his time to KOC endeavors & also served with his wife at NDUCSON Outreach Ministry of Raleigh.

His favorite leisure time activity was watching anything NASCAR or football related with his family, friends and beloved dogs, Roxy and Katie.

Michael regularly and generously supported three favorite charities; SPCA of Wake County, Humane Society of U.S and Wounded Warriors Project. The family welcomes floral arrangements of donations to either of these charities in his honor.

There will be a Prayer service at 2:00 PM Tuesday June 26, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Good News Advent Christian Church Cemetery, Fountain, NC. The family will receive friends and relatives from 12:30- 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Michael would always take a walk on his breaks and during his lunch break. When he walked by the front office at work, he would always throw his hand up and wave. He was always friendly like that. And I will surely miss seeing him around work. To the family, I will pray for you and will be thinking of you.

Mike was an amazing man and great friend! I always enjoyed working along side of him at our Knights of Columbus events. He will be very sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Andrea and the family and may you find peace in our Lord's love.
