Michael Shrom Terrell

Michael Shrom Terrell 54, of 6304 Winthrop Dr., died March 11, 2005. Mr. Therrell wasborn on December 29, 1950 to the late Teal and Ruth Shrom Therrell in Marlboro County, SC.
Concrete Decks, Inc. was founded by building industry veteran Michael S. Therrell. With degrees and certifications from North Carolina State University, Francis Marion University, University of North Carolina, and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Mike has enjoyed over 30 years of successful residential building management. He has been honored with the Triangle's coveted "Builder of the Year"MAME (Major Achievements in Marketing Excellence) Award sponsored by the Triangle Sales & Marketing Council of North Carolina, a council of the Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake and Durham & Orange Counties, and he has also been the recipient of numerous Gold and Silver Parade of Homes Awards. Mike's designs have been published in Builders magazine's "Top Ten Custom Homes in the United States," as well as professional Builder and Remodeler magazine for outstanding design, details, and value of his homes.
Surviving Mr. Therrell are his wife Rebecca (Becky) Williams of Raleigh; son, Jay Rutledge and wife ofDenver, CO; daughter, Lindsey Rutledge of Atlanta, GA; son, Michael Coleman Therrell and wife Jeri of Myrtle Beech, SC; daughter, Beth Therrell of Raleigh; two sisters, Lisa Perkins and husband Sherwood, of Bennettsville, SC and Penny Claiborne and husband Ted of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Jackson Conner Rutledge and Catherine Ruth Therrell; nephews, Adam Claiborne of Chicago, IL and Dan, Brennan, Hunter Sherwood all of Bennettsville, SC.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends 7:00-9:00 p.m. Monday at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home on Millbrook Road.
