I was Mrs. Hatchell's diaysis dietitian up until 2005 and she was the most gracious, kindest, lovable patient I have ever had! She was a pure joy to be around and I would often pull up my chair just to chat with her. My deepest thoughts are with you during this time.

Dear Joan and Family,
I am saddened by your mother's passing. Chris and I worked together at TT 1 School until her retirement. She was a wonderful person to work with and loved working with children. In the years of her retirement she has met many challenges head on and with much grace.....leaving behind a shining example of how we should strive to live our lives.....with a strong faith and strength of spirit. She spent her years giving back--to family & friends,to strangers that she would meet and to her church......in her weakness she created strength to move forward....I recently stopped in to visit with her and as usual she lifted me up:-)...Your mom lived her life well....and we all benefited from her quiet strength...she knew that we will meet again and until that time I will be remembering her example in approaching my own troubles....you are all in my prayers for strength and healing of your grief and saddness......with deep sympathy for your loss....

Chris and I went through the Disciple classes at SUMC. She was one of the sweetest and gentlest persons I have ever known. I was always so pleased when she attended the 8:30 service. Her face was always full of love!
I will miss her so much.

for my first teaching job at TT1 Elem.
School years ago. She was a wonderful

I was thinking of Ms. Chris just the other week. I remember all those mornings we would get up and she would have the bacon cooked and our toast was in the oven, and that yummy grape jam we had! She will be missed, and I know you are all grieving, but rejoice in all the good times, and know that she is now with your dad. Love you all. See you soon.

Sorry to hear of Chris's passing. I worked with Chris at TT1 for some years. The last few years I would see her at Davitta, while there with my husband for his appointments. Hoping that in time , you will look back at all your memories with more happiness than sadness.
